The Select XLS infrared towel heater is the ideal heating solution for any bathroom where a designer finish is required. Featuring innovative, dual-element technology that combines efficient infrared heating of the bathroom with low energy warming for your towels, this stylish heater is bathroom heating at its finest. The ultra slimline Herschel Select XLS range of infrared towel heaters incorporates our SMART-R receiver which enables smart control through your choice of XLS thermostat (sold separately).

Description

The Select XLS electric towel heater is a dual-zone heater with an upper section which comfortably heats the room using efficient infrared technology, helping eliminate moisture in the bathroom and reduce damp and condensation. The lower section is a lower temperature, ideal for towel warming.

All heaters have an ESG Safety Glass front surface and an aluminium rear case with EASYFIX mounting brackets. All units are guaranteed for 5 years.

Herschel Far Infrared panels offer owners an unprecedented level of control over their property’s temperature and energy use. Installations using our infrared panels – optimally zoned and controlled – can save between 30 – 60 percent of the energy consumption of traditional solutions including High Efficiency Convection Heaters, Night Storage, and Electric Underfloor Heating.

The heated areas shown are a guide only and assume a medium to well insulated space with an average floor to ceiling height of 2.40M. If room heights are greater or there are other building factors to consider then please use our Calculate Your Requirements page, Contact Herschel, or contact your dealer directly so that a more detailed assessment can be carried out.

Select XLS Towel Heater Sizes

The Herschel Select XLS Towel heaters come in two different sizes:
- 500 watt panel – 48 x 120 x 2 cm; 22kg & heats an area of 4-9sq metres.
- 700 watt panel – 60 x 130 x 2 cm; 25.5kg & heats an area of 6-12sq metres.
The Select XLS panels come with a 1.8m cord.

  T-BT should be placed where it can sense and manage the temperature in the room without influence from drafts or other hot or cold objects. As it is battery operated it operates stand-alone and can be placed (for example) on a desk or coffee table or set of shelves.
  
  The T-BT thermostat will operate your Herschel XLS heater(s) by turning them on if the room temperature is lower than the desired temperature and turning them off once the desired temperature is reached. The T-BT is easy to operate, featuring a large digital display and keypad and incorporates the latest EcoDesign energy-saving features including Herschel’s open window technology and an adaptive start function ensuring your room is always at the right temperature with the least energy use.
  
  The T-BT has a keypad locking feature to prevent unauthorised tampering making it suitable for commercial applications such as hotels, care homes, student accommodation and let properties. T-BT can control one or more Herschel Select XLS heater panels.
  
  Note: The T-BT will only work with Herschel XLS heaters. It is not possible to operate the T-BT with any other brand of infrared heater.

  T-MT is wired directly to the mains via a recessed back box or can be powered by a micro USB cable (supplied) and operate stand alone (e.g. can be placed on a desk or set of shelves). T-MT should be placed where it can sense and manage the temperature in the room without influence from drafts or other hot or cold objects.
  
  The T-MT thermostat will operate your Herschel XLS heater(s) by turning them on if the room temperature is lower than the desired temperature and turning them off once the desired temperature is reached.
