Get yourself a flexible solar panel!

E-Tex Sunpower Solar Panels

We are now the UK distributors of E-Tex portable solar panels by Spanish brand Textil Energy. They have a range of high-quality flexible silicone panels.

How do they work?

They’re easily installed, without the need for racks or mounts. Simply attach them to the roof of a motorhome, for instance, and use them to power appliances such as kettles or pumps or to charge a smartphone. The power can be stored in a battery and used whenever you like.

Their black monocrystalline cells give it a high level of efficiency when compared to other flexible solar panels, even in poor weather.

Why buy a flexible solar panel?

Maybe you’ve thought before about getting a solar PV system, but want to try out the technology on a smaller scale first, or maybe you just want to make sure you can charge your phone when you don’t have access to the mains.

A flexible solar panel is perfect for if you’re going off-grid; camping, caravanning or sailing, for example. Their durability and resistance to saline environments makes them versatile. They are lightweight and flexible and can be rolled up to carry easily – perfect for carrying from car to campsite. You can use them to charge a battery to use later in the day, or to power appliances such as kettles or air pumps. They’re also a great bit of kit for a festival – no more massive queues or wasting money on charging points.

Flexible solar panels are lightweight and rollable, so they’re easy to carry and won’t take up much space in your bag or boot. You can also easily attach them to the roof of your car or caravan to generate electricity even while you travel. Good solar panels should generate some energy even on not-particularly-sunny days in the summer.

Reduce your dependence on the National Grid and make your own green energy wherever you are!
