One roll of Wallrock KV600 thermal liner and 6kg of adhesive will cover 15m2 of wall – this is a fraction of the price of traditional wall insulating products. Now obviously at only 4mm thick, the Wallrock it is not going to offer the same insulating properties as 100mm of Celotex. However for the cost, you will definitely notice a big improvement in how quickly rooms warm up and retain that heat.


In addition Wallrock KV600 thermal liner is perfect for covering cosmetic cracks on your walls. Old buildings move as they warm and cool during the year, which can create unsightly cracks forming across the plasterboard. Wallrock is made from short wood pulp fibres combined with long and durable textile fibres, which means the liner can move with the building as well as hiding cracks.

Wallrock KV600 Thermal Liner vs. standard Wallrock Thermal Liner

Wallrock KV600 Thermal Liner not only covers more space than the traditional Wallrock Thermal Liner (15m2 compared with 7.5m2). Another benefit is that it the roll is wider (1m wide), therefore there will be fewer joins on the wall giving it an even better finish.

The KV600 is essentially the ‘big brother’ of the normal Wallrock thermal liner giving it even greater insulation benefits. The KV600 thermal liner is 25% thicker than the normal Wallrock thermal liner, at 4mm thick. The liner is attached to the walls with the same special Wallrock Adhesive, providing instant energy saving properties which will help lower your energy bills (savings are dependant on the type of wall you are attaching the liner to and the outside temperature). Not only does it slow the movement of heat out of the home, it also works well as acoustic insulation and also it is excellent for covering damaged and textured walls (provided it is only cosmetic damage).

Both types of thermal liner, which are produced from short wood pulp fibres combined with long and durable textile fibres, can easily be applied to walls and ceilings to provide a low cost, highly effective, space-saving insulation option.
