Herschel Aspect XL Indoor / Outdoor Infrared Heater

The Herschel Aspect range looks like a traditional electric heater at first glance, but it is actually a quality infrared heater, suitable for heating large indoor spaces (especially popular with hot yoga studios) and covered, sheltered outdoor use. The XL has a revolutionary new design that combines ceramic emitters with a top quality extruded and anodised aluminium body. The unit has triple reflectors designed to project far infrared forwards, producing a wider spread and a farther throw. This makes it ideal for large indoor areas and covered outdoor areas. This is unique to Herschel and no other heater uses the technology.

The XL is available in two power outputs: 1300 watts and 1950 watts.

The perfect space heater

The Aspect XL develops full output power within 5-8 minutes – but unlike electric convection heaters, the unit will not glow – the only effect you will notice is the gentle warmth.

Installation & Use

The Aspect XL must be installed in accordance with the installation instructions,  around 2.3 to 2.5m from ground level with the heaters angled down at 60 degrees. They are much more efficient at warming an open area than a convection heater, because less heat gets lost to the atmosphere before it has warmed you or a surface nearby. Try them in a hot yoga studio, garage or workshop to make winter work on the car a lot more comfortable.

In exposed areas with air movement and wind, the far infrared spread may reduce by 1/3 to 1/2. In such instances, we recommend proportionally increasing the number of far infrared Aspect XL heaters, or for colder, windier situations, choosing a heater from our new middlewave Sunset range.
